I noticed after posting the review I wrote for Blender about the New American Music Union rock festival that I was getting a number of hits to the site from people searching for “Jack White”. I thought I’d post a few of the photos I took from the edge of the stage of Jack White fronting the Racounteurs.
I had never seen Jack White live before but man, what a great performer he is. So much energy on stage. All the guys covering the event with photo passes like me were cordoned off to this section right in front of the stage and we were all allowed to shoot for the first 3 songs only. Once the bands started it was like a rugby scrum in there trying to get the shot. I don’t think any of my Jack White shots are brilliant but I’m posting them nonetheless for you Jack White fans out there. Especially check out that 4th shot where he makes one one of the most epic “guitar faces” in modern rock history. Enjoy!
*Speaking of Jack White, I don’t know if you’ve heard Jack White’s other, other band THE DEAD WEATHER but I am enjoying the hell out of their first album HOREHOUND (yes, it sounds dirty, just look it up). I got that album and the first RACOUNTEURS album Broken Boy Soldiers for free from eMusic.
