Amazon Kindle Price Dropped to $189
Wow. I love the Kindle. It’s really hard to understand how thin and lightweight it is until you hold it but its easy to read screen, built in 3G wireless access to the Amazon Kindle book store are the really cool things. You probably know I’ve been a huge proponent of the ebook revolution and though I see all these companies come out with competing products, it’s the Kindle that I think has the best chance to be an important and long-lasting digital publishing platform because, as we all know, it’s all about the software–in this case the software being BOOKS! Plus, what I love the best is that you can get FREE samples from every book in the Kindle first so you can take a book for a test drive first before plunking down your hard-earned cash. You can read the Kindle outside in the sun and at this price (with a good case) I’d even take the Kindle to the beach. And now on the same day that Barnes and Noble dropped the price of their underperforming Nook e-book reader, Amazon comes back with a whopper of a price cut.
