PCH eMusic Blog
March 21, 2008
Music is, without a doubt, probably the single most inspirational thing when it comes to my creativity. I cannot write unless I have music in my headphones. When I walk my dog, I always play tunes on those days I need to think out some plot points or dialogue in my head. When I listen to music it affects me on a very subconscious level to get my synapses firing on all cylinders.
I enjoy checking out lots of new music, but it gets expensive and because I know how hard musicians work on their craft, I don’t like to steal it. Last year, I found a great solution: eMusic. With my eMusic subscription, I get about 75 downloads a month that I use to pick up at least five or six albums for what I’d pay for a couple of CD’s. Plus I can mix and match and just download single tracks if I want. I love e Music for the variety and for the simplicity of keeping my iPod filled without emptying my wallet.
So, I just created my eMusic Pick of the Day blog over at PCHeMusic.com. Every day I’ll post a link to something on eMusic that I really like. Please check it out. I’d love your feedback.
While you’re there, you can also get 35 FREE SONGS from eMusic. Just sign up for a two-week trial account and you’ll get 35 free downloads from eMusic just for checking it out. And if you decide to cancel your subscription before the trial membership expires. YOU STILL GET TO KEEP THE 35 SONGS!
So go to the blog. Check it out. And if you find some great stuff on e Music you think should be the eMusic Pick of the Day, definitely let me know.
